Our Mission:

The Emory & Henry College Honors Program complements the College’s liberal arts mission by offering academically-talented students an opportunity to “Increase in Excellence.” The Honors Program provides challenges for students who possess extraordinary intellectual promise, a strong academic background, broad extracurricular interests, and leadership abilities. The Honors Program offers unique curricular opportunities to challenge students to think critically, logically, and creatively in order to realize their fullest potential. The Honors Program encourages service to the community and active involvement in the life of the college. The Honors Program strives to recruit, engage, develop and retain extraordinary students who will serve as models both inside and outside of the classroom.
